  • Once per month, we host a Yoga for Beginners workshop that will help break things down step-by-step and get you comfortable with the terminology, postures, and basics of building your practice from the ground up.

    Check our schedule for the next offering - typically held on Tue at 6pm or Sat/Sun at 11am.

    If you're ready to go for it and pop into a regular class - we have several offerings that a very beginner friendly! We recommend starting with Vinyasa Level I, Rest + Reset, Restorative Sleep Yoga or Chair Yoga.

    Plan to arrive 15-20min early so you have plenty of time to meet your teacher, settle in to the studio, and ask any questions you may have before class begins. And rest assured that we'll support you step by step from there!

    We have folks of all ages, fitness levels, experience levels, etc practicing at Studio 99. It's a very inclusive space and we think you'll love it.

    And remember - as a new student, you get unlimited access to 2 weeks of classes for just $9.99. So you can try it out the different class styles to see which suits you best!

  • You’ll need a yoga mat, bottle of water, and a small hand towel for your practice.

    If you prefer to rent ours, we’ve got you! Mats, water and towels are available for $1 each.

Vinyasa Level I

Vinyasa Level I is accessible for all experience levels. Perfect for beginners who are developing their practice and experienced yogis who want to fine-tune the basics.

In this class, we'll spend adequate time in seated and standing postures to get comfortable with alignment and establish a strong foundation in your body.

Then, we'll work to quicken the pace and create smooth transitions between the poses - known as Vinyasa flow - by linking breath to movement to awaken, enliven and build gentle heat.

Modifications are taught to keep your body in safe alignment. A more conservative and/or a more challenging variation may be offered to show you what's possible in each pose.

Hot Vinyasa Level II

This energizing Hot Vinyasa Level II class is appropriate for any yogi who is familiar with basic postures and sequences, and is ready to elevate their practice.

You'll be guided through a powerful series of yoga asanas that will help you improve muscle strength, cardiovascular endurance, lung function, and flexibility.

This fast-paced practice features frequent connecting flows that allow for increased energy and deeper, more advanced expressions. No two classes are exactly the same, allowing you to get out your head and reconnect with the creative joy of your practice.

Modifications are taught to keep your body in safe alignment. A more conservative and/or a more challenging variation may be offered to show you what's possible in each pose.

Fit Flow Express

Fit Flow Express is a fast-paced, high-energy class that is rooted in the fundamentals of yoga asana, mindfulness and focused breath... then given a unique spin with added elements of fitness and pilates-style movements. 

This 45-minute quick-hit workout flow will help you build strength, improve endurance and develop toned muscle.

Get in. Get sweaty. Get ready to rock the rest of your day!

Stretch & Reset: Slow Flow Hatha

Stretch & Reset is a 60-minute gentle yoga flow designed to help you unwind from the weekend, release tension in both body and mind, and feel rejuvenated for the week ahead.

The class begins with 20 minutes of deep stretching, allowing your muscles to loosen and your mind to settle. Next, we transition into 20 minutes of mindful flow and balance, moving with intention and grace as you build strength and stability. Finally, the class concludes with 20 minutes of calming, floor-based postures, where you'll sink deeper into relaxation, leaving you feeling refreshed and renewed.

Whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, Stretch & Reset offers the perfect opportunity slow down and reconnect with yourself.

Restorative Sleep Yoga

Restorative Sleep Yoga is a late evening class that is designed to help you relax your body and unwind your mind... preparing you to head home for a peaceful, restful evening. 

Many props are incorporated to support you including bolsters, blankets, blocks and straps. Poses are mostly performed lying or sitting on the floor, and are held for several breaths or several minutes each. 

The result is a feeling of internal bliss and peace of mind, that will help you effortlessly drift off into a dreamy night of sleep.

Chair Yoga for EVERY Body

Chair Yoga for EVERY Body is ideal for folks of all ages who may be experiencing limited mobility, balance concerns, recovering from injury, healing post-surgery, or anyone looking for a gentler, more restorative yoga practice.

The entire mat-based yoga sequence is done sitting on a chair, allowing you to feel completely supported and grounded. Some standing postures may be incorporated, using the chair or the wall for added support and balance.

You'll also learn breathing techniques to help calm your mind and will be guided to gently stretch your body.

Yoga for Beginners

So... you wanna learn about Yoga?!

This monthly workshop-style class is for you.

Yoga for Beginners is for folks of all levels and abilities, and is designed to familiarize you with the fundamentals of building a safe, comfortable yoga practice.

In 75-minutes, you'll confidently learn:

  • The names of fundamental poses that make up a typical Vinyasa yoga class

  • Specific point-to-point cues and body alignment techniques to get into each posture

  • How to feel comfortable weaving the postures together to create a continuous movement known as "Flow"

  • Modifications with the use of props so that you can keep your body in safe alignment and build strength to grow your practice

  • Studio etiquette + best practices for a safe, successful and FUN yoga experience no matter your level of experience

This class is perfect for you if:

  • You're brand-spankin'-new to Yoga and want to be familiar with the basics before trying a class

  • You're a Beginner Yogi developing your practice and want to feel more confident in your postures

  • You're an Experienced Yogi who knows sometimes the best way to go deeper is to fine-tune the beginningsClass size limited to 12 participants, so you will receive plenty of hands-on support and guidance.

Please bring a mat, water and an open, playful heart. If you like to take notes, you may also find a journal helpful.
