Vocal Empowerment Workshop + Blanket Drive benefitting Boro Women & Family Services

Come lift up your voice while we uplift the community!
Begin this sweet and soulful morning with hot cocoa, connection time in community, and donation drop off.
Then we'll circle up to sing, chant and express ourselves with songs of joy, hope and empowerment. Songs will be a mixture of familiar pop culture, classic carols, and some yoga-inspired mantra. Led by Lori Burke and Monica Graves Garcia.
NO singing or vocal experience is necessary, and you don't need to "have a good voice" to participate.
We believe ALL voices are beautiful and ALL voices are needed, during this special time of year when lifting each other up is the most important thing we can do

Workshop Entry 'Fee' is 1 Warm Blanket, new and unused
Registration in advance is encouraged so we can prepare accordingly.
If you'd like to bring other donations in addition to the blanket, some items of need include:
Body wash, shower puff
Lotion, creams
Hairbrushes
Chapstick, lip gloss
Women's razors, shave cream
Women’s deodorant
Misc self-care items
Cash donations
If you are unable to attend the event and still wish to donate - collection will take place at Studio 99 Yoga & Wellness from Sun 12/1 - Sun 12/8.
Please view our daily yoga class schedule to select a time.
Items can be dropped off within 30 min before and up to 15 min after each scheduled class.
